Month 2
This month, I lost 7 pounds, bringing my total to 20.
In two months, 1/3 of my alloted time, I’ve lost half of the weight.
I’m really looking better. My face, arms, and body are noticably thinner in pictures, and I am happy to have a waist again.
I’m not exactly sure how much more I have to lose, but I know exercise will help to maintain the pace I’m on – down to a reasonable just less than 2 pounds per week. Plus, I only lost an inch off my waist, so I know a change is needed to look the way I want to.
Yay!
Month 1
I’ve been on this diet for a month. I turn 30 in 5 more. Looking at the scale and measuring this morning, I’m exactly 1/3 of the way there in both weight and waist measurement. I’ve lost 13 of 40 pounds and 3 of 9 inches.
I definitely lost some motivation after Thanksgiving, but I feel like I’m back on track, although I’m quite hungry most of the time. I need to get back to exercising more than once or twice a week, and start lifting weights.
I’ve done really well, and am noticing a difference in how I look, but this is hard – it seems like 6 months (or however long it takes) is forever. I need to be in shape when I’m done so I can maintain this weight through exercise and be able to splurge every now and again, or I won’t maintain.
